Drayton Green is an ecologist specializing in a range of ecological services, including wetland delineations, stormwater management projects, prescribed burns, tree inventories, and various environmental conservation initiatives.  

He is a graduate of the College of Charleston, where he earned a degree in evolutionary biology with a concentration in environmental science. During his time at CofC, he worked extensively with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources at the Santee Coastal Reserve in Georgetown, contributing to research and conservation projects focused on waterfowl, red-cockaded woodpeckers (RCW), and American alligators.

Drayton also collaborated with the Davey Resource Group on the Asian longhorned beetle (ALB) invasive species eradication program, gaining valuable experience in urban forestry and ecological management. He is on track to become an ISA Certified Arborist and will continue growing Sabine & Water's environmental, tree-inventor, and urban forestry services.

A sixth-generation Charlestonian, Drayton Green grew up in South Carolina with a deep connection to the outdoors. His passion for nature began at an early age through hunting, fishing, and exploring the Lowcountry landscape. Outside of work, Drayton enjoys spending time on the water with friends and hosting game nights, combining his love for the outdoors with a strong sense of community and camaraderie.
